Course Aims/Objectives
Understanding the “normal” components required for executive functioning
Understanding how the executive functions relate to perception and cognition
Relating knowledge of neuroanatomy and neuropsychology to functional impairment
Understanding the specific role of the OT in the assessment and treatment of dysexecutive function
Becoming aware of the application of different treatment methodologies and intervention strategies
Obtaining a starting point in planning, early, middle and late stages of treatment by the use of functional activities and intervention strategies
