Course Aims/Objectives

  • Understand the importance of the visual system in normal occupational performance

  • Understand common visual dysfunctions seen following neurological damage and how these impact on function

  • Have an awareness of common eye health problems

  • Be confident in the screening and assessment of visual functioning

  • Be aware of interventions/strategies that can be used with this client group
